Who This Quantitative Testing Is For:
🎓 Nursing & Medical Students (Clinicals)
Your program requires a current quantitative N95 fit test before entering any clinical setting. We test students from Rowan University, Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ), and programs throughout South Jersey every single week.
🩺 Registered Nurses (RNs, LPNs, NPs, Travel Nurses)
Whether starting a new position, onboarding for a travel assignment, or renewing annual credentials, we get you in and out fast. Starting a new assignment often means your facility wants you fit tested on their specific N95 brand, even if you already have a current test. We stock the most common hospital N95 brands used locally so you never hold up your start date.
🛡️ PT, OT, Home Health & Clinic Staff
Serving Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Home Health Aides, and CHHAs working with patients on airborne precautions. If your agency or setting puts you in contact with active respiratory infections, annual quantitative testing ensures your complete compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring my own N95 mask?
No. We stock the most common N95 brands used across South Jersey hospitals. If your specific clinical facility requires an uncommon make or model, please call or text us before your appointment to confirm our current stock.
Can I use my fit test from a previous employer at my new hospital?
It depends on the hospital and the mask. If your new facility uses the exact same N95 brand, model, and size you were previously tested on, many employers will accept your current record. If they use a different brand, you must undergo a new fit test. Always verify policies with your new employer's occupational health department.
My hospital switched N95 brands — do I need a new fit test?
Yes. While your OSHA medical clearance remains valid (as it is tied to your physical health history), your physical fit test is locked explicitly to the exact make, model, and size of the respirator. A brand switch requires a new test.
What happens if I fail the fit test?
Do not panic. Faces vary, and not every mask fits every individual on the first attempt. We will test different respirator sizes and models to locate a secure, proper seal. If a tight-fitting mask cannot achieve a safe pass, your employer can provide a PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) as an alternative. Failing a single test does not bar you from working.
How often do I need to be fit tested?
Every year. OSHA mandate requires annual testing. You will also need a retest sooner if you experience significant weight change, major facial or dental surgery, or if your facility shifts to a completely different mask brand.
I wear glasses — will that be a problem?
No. Bring your standard frames to your appointment. We check for compatibility during the quantitative analysis. Most N95 masks seal and function perfectly with standard eyewear.
What is the difference between the OSHA medical evaluation and the fit test?
The **medical evaluation** is a mandatory screening questionnaire confirming your heart and lungs can physically handle wearing a respirator. The **fit test** is the physical machine analysis confirming the specific N95 size creates a complete, air-tight seal on your face. Both are legally required, and both are included in our $95 session.
Do nursing students need both the medical evaluation and the fit test?
Yes. OSHA regulations require both steps completed before any student or employee wears a tight-fitting mask. We take care of both steps together in a single, streamlined 10-minute slot.
Can I walk in or do I need to schedule?
We are highly flexible, but we strongly request that you schedule online or call ahead to secure your exact time slot. Same-day and next-day appointments are frequently open to keep your clinical onboarding timeline moving smoothly.
