Do I need to bring my own N95 mask?
No. We stock the most common N95 brands used across South Jersey hospitals. If your specific clinical facility requires an uncommon make or model, please call or text us before your appointment to confirm our current stock.
Can I use my fit test from a previous employer at my new hospital?
It depends on the hospital and the mask. If your new facility uses the exact same N95 brand, model, and size you were previously tested on, many employers will accept your current record. If they use a different brand, you must undergo a new fit test. Always verify policies with your new employer's occupational health department.
My hospital switched N95 brands — do I need a new fit test?
Yes. While your OSHA medical clearance remains valid (as it is tied to your physical health history), your physical fit test is locked explicitly to the exact make, model, and size of the respirator. A brand switch requires a new test.
What happens if I fail the fit test?

I wear glasses — will that be a problem?
No. Bring your standard frames to your appointment. We check for compatibility during the quantitative analysis. Most N95 masks seal and function perfectly with standard eyewear.
What is the difference between the OSHA medical evaluation and the fit test?
The **medical evaluation** is a mandatory screening questionnaire confirming your heart and lungs can physically handle wearing a respirator. The **fit test** is the physical machine analysis confirming the specific N95 size creates a complete, air-tight seal on your face. Both are legally required, and both are included in our $95 session.
